Our Classes

We are now accepting registrations for the Fall session of Music Together® Outdoors!

With Music Together Outdoors, music class is enjoyed in a beautiful outdoor setting! Beginning September 12, for eight weeks, Director, Alyson Cohn and instructor, Janica Carpenter will lead your family in fun musical activities using songs from the Bongos Song Collection. Plus, you’ll get a CD, songbook, digital access code, and bonus activities so the musical fun can continue all week long! It’s the perfect way to deepen your little one’s music education in the safety of the outdoors. All adults will be required to wear masks and each family will be supplied with a personal bag of instruments for use while in class that will be thoroughly disinfected in between classes. Classes will be held under a huge screened canopy for shade and protection from the elements. Families are also asked to bring their own blankets to sit on.

A registration fee of $20.00 applies to new families. The registration fee for returning families is $10.00.

Our Winter, Spring, and Fall sessions offer eight weekly, 45-minute classes that include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. A CD and a Songbook are included, as well as a personal digital access code for exciting downloadable material! Tuition for Winter, Spring and Fall classes is $250.00. Sibling tuition is $205.00 for the first sibling and $180.00 for each additional sibling. Babies under nine months of age are FREE in the same class as a registered sibling.

Our Summer session offers six weekly classes. Tuition for summer classes is $175.00 and includes a CD, songbook and a digital access code. Sibling tuition is $140.00 for the first sibling and $120.00 for each additional sibling.

There is also a registration fee of $20.00 for new families. The registration fee for returning families is $10.00.

Below is our schedule of upcoming classes:

Mixed Age Class

Parents, regardless of their own musical ability, find it fun and easy to help create an environment that supports any child in achieving basic music competence. Children participate at their own level in classes of mixed ages by singing, moving, chanting, listening and exploring music instruments. Activities focus on adult/child interaction rather than child/child, so children of different ages (such as siblings) can enjoy class together. Also, many childhood educators consider mixed age groupings beneficial, and the process of music development throught this age range is similar.

Baby Class

A special class for infants 8 months and younger. A child's musical development benefits greatly from early exposure as an infant.

Big Kids Class

A special advanced class for children 4 through 6 years of age who want to continue the Music Together experience at the next level.
